The Democrats have reaped what they have sown

January 20, 2010
God is not  mocked. (Gal. 6:7)
The Democrats have reaped what they have sown. (also Gal. 6:7).  The election of Scott Brown to the U.S. Senate is a vindication of the principles upon which the United States was founded – personal responsibility, individual liberty and the rule of law which have been trodden under foot for the last 75 years.  When Democrat President Franklin D. Roosevelt threatened the rule of law by attempting to pack the court so that it would ratify his defiance of the Constitution we began our descent into socialism.  We have been progressively continuing that slide with the great society programs and the persistent efforts by the US government to take over the prerogatives of the states as guaranteed by the 10th amendment of the US Constitution and the outrageous spending of Congress.
Last night the population of the state of Massachusetts has said “enough”.  Even the liberal, progressive, elite society of Massachusetts has recognized that the course of the U.S. Congress is unsustainable and that if we do not change course and re-establish the tenants of the US Constitution we will go the way of the Roman oligarchy and descend into anarchy. It has re-ignited the spirit of 1775 and the Boston Tea Party to save us from our own indulgences.  I want to personally thank the voters of Massachusetts for repudiating the policies of Barak Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi and reasserting the ideas of freedom and liberty as fought and died for by the patriots from Massachusetts 200 years ago.

Sincerely,

Richard Bolen

Chairman

Lexington County Republican Party

Yes Sir that’s right. Now, onto enforcing the ” rule of law” please. There are unaddressed major problems in this state.
