Gas Prices… Unpopular but True!

June 8, 2008

Unpopular but True!

Ok folks, we have reached the $4 plus average on gas per gallon…  Hmmm just some simple thoughts on the situation; Europe has been paying $7 plus per gallon for years so what are we complaining about?  If one lives 30-60 minutes away from work, one word: MOVE!  Your thoughts appreciated.

Editors note:  I live one minute from anywhere downtown Columbia, SC and maybe I fill my tank once a month so quite frankly the fact that I only get 15mpg in city and 25mpg on highway at speed limit of course…in a 400hp sedan does not bother me in the least…

Are you married? Do you have kids? Or even a dog?

    No?

No surprise then that you find it attractive and affordable to live in downtown Columbia.

The rest of us would appreciate some increased domestic production of oil and lower gas prices.

Three Parrots and a Wife thanks! And guess what if I lived in a flood plain I would move, if I lived to far from my workplace even though mine is my dining room table I would move. A car is a luxury people; folks whom have lots of Mony in NY don’t even own a car…get real!

Moving would be fine if you could sell your house and if there was public transportation.

New Military Recruiting incentive: 40 acres and an oil well!

Time to start pumping all that free oil out of the middle east to pay for the war. I believe Kuwait should up their production for bailing them out in 91. Simply put, lives for oil, and we are talking their lives and oil, not our lives and money.

SC Hotline: Make sure you have some tonic on the lawn mower tomorrow as the heat index is suppose to hit 108.
