The Immigration reform bill has been a disaster. At least now we know which Senators are for Immigration reform and those who oppose it. When the bill came up for a vote in the Senate on immigration reform here is how the Senators voted on it. An Aye vote is in favor of immigration reform and a Nay vote is those Senators who vote against immigration reform.
The ones in bold are Republicans who voted against illegal immigration reform. Of those 4 two of them have Republican primary opposition Jakie Knotts and Luke Rankin. I would encourage you to vote them out of office and help their opponents.

Editors note: How hard is this, you are costing our great State of South Carolina jobs for the legal and legal revenues at the expense of the poor, get your act together, they are illegal aliens period!

Urging voters to throw someone out of office over one vote betrays ignorance.

This is a federal issue as well as our state. Immigration is a legal process. Illegal immigrants are breaking the law. 40% of the illegal issue are those who have overstayed their visa. Until that is made a felony and not a misdemenor, who cares? If made a felony at least the sherriffs would have a reason to round up folks who need to be deported or at least investigated. The border must be secured. If you want to stew a rabbit you must first close the doors. In the mean time all the expense to support illegal people i.e., schools, health care, housing, etc. should be tallied up and that amount should be reduced from foreighn aid and discounted in trade.

To all my friends in Lexington Dump Knotts, vote for KATRINA SHEALY 06-10-2008.
If we as citizens broke the law with forged IDs, we would be thrown in jail.
Also thanks jeffrey Sewell how vote was cast!

But isn’t Senator Billy O’Dell a Republican? I believe he switched parties. However if you are going to point the few GOP members of the Senate who voted against it you should include him to be fair.

I agree with “could be wrong” why would you not include O’dell?? Maybe because he hires them??
